A built-in tripod

The LUMIX DMC-G80 has an improved version of the optical stabiliser called the Dual IS 2. As the name suggests, this gyroscopic technology adjusts the optical lens shift (O.I.S. - Optical Image Stabilizer) and B.I.S. (Body Image Stabilizer, 5-axis) which moves the sensor. The two systems coordinate perfectly to deliver extremely accurate results. Therefore, blurring caused by camera shake is greatly suppressed, for sharp pictures and videos even in low light conditions or when shooting in motion. In other words, you can afford to extend the exposure time by up to 5 EV compared to a camera without a stabiliser.
